Hey Gays,
I got some exciting news. I was booked to perform at the Gay Life Expo in NYC.
The funny thing is that I have sent in a press kit in past years and never heard anything back. This time I emailed and sent and electronic press kit and in a few hours they offered me a spot....Go figure! They usually say sending in a formal press kit is more effective...
The expo is always a fun way to meet people and mingle. I've been twice and usually they have very good entertainment, etc.
This event is sponsored by HX which is fabulous because now I can be more visible for print in the future...Does this mean I will have more gays coming to my show's. I hope so!!

Hey Glenn,
I know, go figure. I have Jeffrey to thank for that because he posted about it on facebook and I was like Oh, yeah! I haven't tried to send a press kit to them in a couple of years so I put an electronic one together and sent it off and they got back to me really quickly offering me a spot.
It'll be fun so you guys will have to try and go, I'll let you all know the time, etc.

Seems like electronic is the way to go these days... I get more responses from galleries that way too, by sending a link to my website. We will definitely be attending the expo this year... sounds like a lot of fun.
