"New Old Gays" what a fucking liberty

Hey Gays,

I read this article in the NY Observer about "New Old Gays". As Catherine Tate's Character Nan would say "What a Fucking Liberty"

Why does everything have to have a damn label attached to it!!

Good lord almighty Mary, save me from the labels, please!!!

Kisses, MargOH!

I'm sick of Moron journalists

Hey Gays,

In NY we get this daily paper called Metro, I think it may be national put out by the AP or something. I sometimes will read it when I see an article about something local in NY and did that the other day.

I flipped to one section that has gossip and entertainment, of course, somehow news and and gossip are the same thing..anyway there was a piece on Matthew Broderick and his cheating on SJP with a "red head". I hadn't heard about this and who know if it's true but I must say that the writer Dorothy Robinson must be a Moron.

She wrote the little piece about this but for some reason had to add in that the upside to this story is that we at least can put to rest the "gay rumors" about Matthew...what's the upside here? That he's not gay...what if he was...or did she mean the upside is he didn't cheat n her with a guy...and it's better it was a woman...Also, he could be Bi-sexual and like it both ways....

The whole statement was so ridiculous and didn't even need to be in the piece. I'm convinced this girl must be from Minnesota or something and has no clue what she said was offensive....aaargh

How do these people get jobs......

"I've been on a diet for two weeks and all I've lost is fourteen days

Hey gays,

After Estelle Getty's passing I've been looking up women in comedy and I always seem to forget Totie Fields . She was a female comedian that poked fun at her weight. She became famous after becoming an Ed Sullivan regular. I was watching some of her stuff on youtube. She is Hysterical.

She died young at 48 because of an aneurysm, this clip is after she had a leg amputated due to diabetes/blood clot, it was an HBO special. It always amazes me when people can pull themselves up from a bad situation and make light of themselves. I love it..

I also love the outfit, it's fabulous

A New Project

Hey Gays,

I'm working on a new project and for the first time will include me....and my character MargOH! Channing.

In the past few months I've been kicking around and idea about doing a semi-autobiographical show about how I became a performer. Now as of yesterday I have an actual outline and will start writing this show.

I also will be looking for a director for the very first time. I usually write, perform, produce, direct and promote all of my shows. This time around I feel like I need some guidance.

When I did my last string of solo shows "What makes a legend drink most?" I wasn't happy with the final outcome. I did have some good performances but I don't think the overall show was put together well. I did ask for some assistance from my friend Beth who is an actress to critque and give me some pointers on performance. Beth helped immensely and my Final show of which I titled "RAW: A Command Performance" was much better and well recieved.

I know now for this project I will need direction. I've also asked my pal Scott to write me some special material as well, he has a cutting wit that will be perfect for this revue.

I'm not divulging much about the project because it is very early stage but I'm really excited about exploring new territory and using a different approach to my performance....

I'll keep you updated....

Golden Girl Estelle Getty

Hey Gays,

Estelle Getty was one of the first ladies of American Comedy..right up there with Lucille Ball I believe. I have always preferred female comedic dames over the men...Golden Girls was a fabulous show and a show I still watch religously. I never get tired of it because of the women who made it such a great all around show but to me Sophia was the best, Estelle's comic timing was perfect and the way she embodied that character was amazing. She left us with a fabulous body of work and I will keep enjoying it!!

Estelle is also a role model for grit and determination. She never gave up on her dream of being an actress and struggled for years to make it. She was in her early
60's when she landed the role in Golden Girls and became an international celebrity....wow...

Here's to you Estelle for all the Laughs

2 Posts, 1 Day

Hey gays,

Just throwing this out there....because I'm still amazed that Perez Hilton made a
career for himself....I never really liked his blog, to me he was just telling the same stories about the same celebs from other sources. I think it was giving himself the name Hilton that did it, I guess.

Anyway, I saw this picture and he really has ballooned lately. I wonder whats up?

I'm sure he is lovely and good for him and all of his success but after all these years I just don't get it.....Hedda Hopper he ain't and certainly he's not Louella Parsons

Big Fat headache

Hey gays,

I usually love the heat but the past week or so here in NY the heat's been making me ill for some reason. I was out enjoying a lovely day yesterday but had a headache and stomach ache...aaaaargh , I hate that... I wish i could feel good all the time....

Besides being pleasantly plump and chunky I also have celiac disease which means I have an intolerance to Gluten. Gluten is a protein in wheat, rye , oats and barley that my body can't handle. The good thing is I was diagnosed in 2003 and have been on the diet ever since and I feel much better most of the time. The bad thing is when I'm not feeling well knowing I haven't eaten gluten I tend to get worried about what it could be.

The problem is before I was diagnosed with Celiac I had a lot of bathroom issue's....i.e. I was shitting my brains out all the time and yes not always making it to a bathroom....................................it's not a fun thing to talk about but shit happens....to everyone. Yesterday was one of those days when i was having issues but who knows why?

I know I had not eaten gluten so I think I get a little crazy over it....why, why , why.....is the question....Why can't I just be like normal people and not have to wonder where the next available bathroom is....it gets really tiresome.

The situation almost makes me not want to eat at all....I wish it were that easy and I could chuck all the food away and cleanse my body. Then maybe just live on a liquid diet of organic things....but i would miss my lays chips, indeed....

Well, gotta run.....not to the bathroom, thank goodness but I should call the gastro doc to see if I can get an appointment before vacation for some high powered imodium... : )

So Shocked

Hey gays,

i was reading another blog which i'm not going to link too because I don't want to
spread any negative energy.

This blog was posting pics of a pride celebration and had all pics of thin gays with nice captions and positive things to say until he got to the picture above and said..."Why do we have to let these fat pigs in a parade, why not the zoo, they are bears after all"

This blogger does not have any pictures of himself on the blog but I wonder what he looks like and why the hell he feels he has to say hurtful things...

It really is ridiculous and uncalled for. I wonder if any of these thin gays realize they'll get a little chunky as they get older.....mmmm doubt it!

The fabulous Della Dare

Hey gays,

I have to say that the New York burlesque scene is at the forefront of body image and acceptance for the big boned set. I've been to many shows and there are performers of all shapes and sizes. I love it.

This photo is of a performer I saw named Della Dare, she is fantastic and a real crowd pleaser. She happens to be a large and lovely gal....

Bravo Della...

Funny but weird fat Picture

Hey Gays,

I saw this picture and since I'm a tennis player I thought it was a hoot. I shouldn't call myself a tennis player because i haven't played this summer...I do love to play and miss it a bit but we're going to Florida next month and I will be
playing as much as I can!! Can't wait.

Oh yes, the we're is my husband, yes fat gays get married too...LOL just joking, I was thin when we met....but he'd love me anyway. My husband Jeff doesn't care about my weight so much but rather about my health which is a valid concern.

I'm lazy when it comes to working out and though he tries to get me moving I usually fall off the workout wagon. I do take an aerobics class and did go to the gym and did cardio yesterday.

Can you tell I would love to be thin...????? I would, I would but it always seems so much trouble....aargh

anyway , here is the funny pic...

Fat and Fabulous

Hey Gays,

Now I mean those two words don't usually go together, well unless you are a celebrity. Did you ever wonder why if you're fat and on TV or in the movies plus music you become perky and big boned.....this usually happens to actresses because everyone expects men to get fat as they age but women tend to have the stigma of everyone thinking she'll lose the weight eventually.

There are so many names that come to mind but there are a few who get the fat and fabulous rank...not in my eyes but how the media has perceived them I guess or how their weight is such a huge part of their success or failure. My top 5 women WHO's weight has a huge impact on their career's.

1 Oprah
2. Marissa Jaret Winkour
3. Marie Osmond
4. Kirsty Alley
5. Queen Latifah

Any thoughts or others I didn't think about...

Well , there was Judy Garland and Shelly Winters as well that were both so ruled by their weight that poor Judy actually became addicted to pills. Shelly was more like fuck em and did the best she could but Judy just wanted to be thin because the studio's made her feel she had to be....it's very sad!!

I want to be a plus size model

Hey Gays,

I do realize that fashion and modeling are very chic and sexy. I even understand
why designers like to use skeletons to model their clothes...everything flows better on a corpse, don't you remember the scenes from movies like "Poltergeist" and "Night of the living dead" The shredded look is only suited for the very thin and gaunt you know.

The other day I walked by a big and tall shop...I of course are neither that tall or big enough for the clothes in there but i walked in anyway and noticed that all the models were tall but none of them were what I would call fat.

I know it's called big and tall but I thought they were just being politically correct and meant fat and tall...... I realized that I could be a plus size model if I lost a few pounds. I weigh 215 pounds at the moment, I think if I can get down to 200 I could then be a big and tall poster model.

The pic above is from an add from the big and tall shop.....mmmmm

Craigslist fat haters

hey Gays,

These are some of the gems listed on Craigslist in the men for men section

A person named Eric says:

im looking for a relationship with a guy around my age and weight I dont like fat guys no offense but im looking for a slim/athletic

BT asks Hmmm- If you mean no offense , why write it?

another charmer

look like one of the guys below!!! 8c in great shape and handsome here.. be able to host and be clean.. no skiiny men at all or fat guys.. send pics and stats in first email

He wanted someone like this , Notice how he spelled skinny wrong but fat perfectly

BT Says My favorite posts are the ones that equate fat with being fem....not sure how that came to be.....and he adds in ageism as well just for the hell of it, I really want to sleep with this person...don't you..

I'm nineteen, foot'9 145llbs home and horny looking to receive oral from an expert who is muscular, in shape and good looking. We can do more if the vibe is right. I'm 7 inches uncut. YOU: not older than 40 and not fat and not fem.

I was once thin in 1972

Hey gays,

This was a pic of me when I was thin.....I was very cute!

Who would know that this cute little thin boy would struggle with weight all his life to try and

fit in.....I don't see it in his eyes, that cute thin person staring back at me....

It's actually the tie that looks hungry here...

Welcome to Fat-ee Gay

Hey Kids,

This will be a blog dedicated to all those gays out there, I mean Gay men , Lesbians, Bi and Transgendered who are pleasantly plump or chunky or maybe even actually fat......

Thin People can read this too of course but I'm more interested in what the fat gays have to say about what it is like to be gay and fat in 2008........

I want to hear from other fat gays like myself and talk about how we feel about being catagorized by our own gay community as Fat and fem or un-masculine, etc.

Let's roll kids...no pun intented

Thanks, BT
